The Fabled Race

Another fantasy artwork piece in a series I call “Fables & Follies” is this Altered Reality, “The Fabled Race”. Inspired by the popular story “The Tortoise and the Hare” by Aesop, it visually describes how your good attitude can win the race of life. The tortoise focuses on his goal and continues on even when the odds don’t appear to be in his favor. The hare, however, is overly confident to the point of being cocky. He not only doesn’t move up to the starting line, he stops to scratch as the race starts. If you continue with the story, he stops for a nap and never focuses on his goal. Be like the Tortoise.
