Seed of Life

This mandala composition is an adaptation of “The Seed of Life” sacred geometry. The original mandala, with its 7 circles, represents the blueprint of the universe, containing the wisdom of growth, development and creativity. Grapes on the vine, which I photographed at a couple of local wineries, seemed the perfect subject to add within all its little divisions. You can imagine grapes as being the actual seed of life for human sustenance…so sweet, refreshing and delicious whether the grapes are fresh off the vine or fermented into wine.
