Persistence of Vision

Optical Illusion art. The term, persistence of vision is an optical illusion you see when you stare at something then look away; much like an afterimage… hence the double image in this fantasy composition. The white gown, tailored to look like a medieval fantasy gown, I made of pure silk so that any subtle movement would be captured. The columns and pond were added to the scenery. The little black bird, however, was actually part of one of the photos. My friend’s teenage daughter proved to be the perfect model, exuding sweet innocence and “making” this optical illusion art a sweet fantasy scene.
