Yak Abstract_ready to hang

In June 2023, I was fortunate enough to visit Tajikistan. We trekked the Almay Mountains and spent time experiencing the culture, the historical architecture and visiting the gorgeous buildings in Dushanbe, the capital city. We saw a great deal of animals while trekking the countryside of Tajikistan. This beautiful beast was with his herd. They were all quite shy except for this male. He was about the same size as a Hereford bull, maybe a bit taller. He stood and stared at us for awhile, and watched us as we quickly and quietly walked away. I have a photo of him in his natural surroundings, but thought I’d try a fun, abstract background that draws your attention to just him and not the beautiful scenery of the area.
