Kicking Up a Storm

This lighthouse can be seen at Headlands Beach in Mentor, Ohio, just down the road from me and is also featured in one of my Altered Reality artworks, called “Migration”.Lake Erie is well known for its dangerous storms. With it being a shallow lake, the water can get treacherous, but the waves whipping up into a frenzy is beautiful to see. I love going out to the lake in all kinds of weather. It changes its mood daily.
This photograph won Best of Show in the Western Reserve Photographic Society’s Lake Erie competition, 2022.
